ABOUT RYAN

Artist Statement:

I am a multidisciplinary experimentalist. A conscious perception of the self as human experiment. My comprehension of the artistic process will exercise and synthesize all aspects of what I perceive to be drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, installation, book making, film making, video Art, graphic design, illustration and other suchness of creative expression as a means of communication. I choose to record the world, and give my impulses tangible form. Immediate and ephemeral.

Fox News “Good Day Cafe” stopped by Dizzy’s last week for a visit. Matheo and Ben were there and Matheo was showing off his latest grits dish, cheese grits topped with eggs. What’s this “Yankee Boy” doing playing around with this Southern staple, must be from all those years he spent in Missouri. Missouri is part of the South, Right? Whatever, Matheo’s inspiration, these grits are delicious! Come in and check out all the great food Matheo has been whipping up for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

What does Matheo have up his sleeve for the fall dinner menu?

Matheo has been hard at work planning the new fall menu and will soon unveil all the surprises he has in store. When asked about some of the new fall menu items Matheo was tight lipped but he promised the new fall menu would really shake things up.

Rumors has it that the Fall Menu, which kicks off October, will feature classics like Biscuits and Gravy and Butterscotch Pudding; fresh veggies and meats from local producers and the Slope Market; and some soon to be classics like Dizzy’s signature “Naughty Sauce” . . . HUH! . . . or this is just a sneaky SEO trick to get lots of Google hits?!

But don’t wait till fall. Dizzy’s has been cooking up tasty treats all summer long with all the old favorites, Dad’s Favorite Meatloaf, Tuna Mac, and of course great burgers too! If you visit Dizzy’s Flickr album you can take a peak of some of the great things Matheo has been cooking up for Dinner all summer long.
